Today is Friday. The end of the week. Some people see this day as the day to kick into coast and head into the weekend. And many times that is OK. But if it is what we do every Friday, we could be losing some ground that makes Monday even harder than it already is! Just a suggestion. I heard this listening to a tape on sales success long ago. The person was talking about those sales people who excel. The study showed that they weren’t necessarily working a lot harder than everyone else. They just did a little extra every day. The statistics went something like this. The super sales people made two extra calls a day. Just two. But let’s do the math. Two calls a day for five days a week over a 48 week year comes out to 480 extra calls a week. Let’s say that we get through on just ten percent of those calls and convert half of those calls to sales. What is your average sales call worth? Multiply it by 24 and that is your increase in revenue. Now you might not be in sales, but another field. What would two extra _____ per day in your field be worth? You do the math. The results will surprise you!
