This was a week of introspection. Obviously when we’re trying to compare how we dealt with situations in the past and how we deal with them now, we naturally try to do better so there is more of a contrast. This is good!
So how was the contrast? Did you notice any difference in how you approached situations before and how you approach them now? What elements of leadership did you use when correcting and teaching others? Remember that the deliver is just as important as the instruction. Hopefully you noticed improvement in tone, in your full attention being given, and your encouragement despite necessary negative feedback.
If you see a major contrast between how you were as a leader and who you are now, congratulations! That’s super! Keep up the good work!
If not, what needs to change? And where can you start? Improvement is hard but it is what leaves marks on your record that you will never regret making. That can’t be said for a lot of other marks.
