One minute and counting…
Whatever you do, say, or think, it’s your mindset that comes through, and that is what people directly respond to. Behaviors and mindset are inseparable companions.
On Monday we challenged you to: Find one situation in your week that you dread, a meeting, a patient, and change your mindset.
How did it go? Now I’m not writing this to you as some kind of removed party. I have worked with you, talked to you, or interviewed you. Let’s go back and forth on this. Shoot me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org). If the outward mindset isn’t working for you up to this point, lets talk.
Mind you nothing long term permanent is short term easy.
However, you are building foundations that are priceless. No amount of authority or position can buy you the currency of respect, that the outward mindset pays out.
So keep it up. One situation at a time. It’s not flipping a switch. It is turning a dial. One day at a time. As the leadership expert, John Maxwell states: leaders are made daily, not in a day.
